Meet The Crazy Radio Chicks from What's Happening Brevard

Jackie McCoy is a long time Disc Jockey and has been in the radio business since the late 70’s. She began her career in St. Croix and moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1980.

Jackie currently has the longest running Oldie's Show in the nation (25 years) called The Original Sunday Night Oldies Show which she does live from The Dorsett Inn in St. Louis with her partner Mad Maynard. You can also listen to her on KEZK in St. Louis.

Susan Ramon was a Disc Jockey in the mid 80’s with Jackie McCoy (in St. Louis) and left radio to pursue her career in the horse business. Her career was very successful and won many professional shows including the World Championship in 1986 with her Paso Fino, Don Ramon. Don Ramon is now 26 years old and resides in St. Louis living a quiet life.

Susan moved to Florida in 1996 to enjoy the Florida lifestyle. An opportunity to re-enter the radio business with Tropic Wave Radio was offered in March of 2005. Jackie  and Susan launched What’s Happening Brevard April 18, 2005 and have continued to gain a huge international, cosmopolitan cult following.
